Hey,

Can anyone identify this... I was told it was a cup leather, but just to make sure?? Also anyone who read any of my other threads, my small maroon clown (hiccup) is doing alright and the bigger one (damien) isn't going after him at all... infact when hiccup comes toward damiens anemone, Damien rushes toward him but then they rub faces... and three times today (that i have watched) they were next to eachother rubbing their fins. Is this a good sign?!

looks like a leather coral, maybe cup or toadstool.

Looks like a small toadstool leather.

Sounds like you may have a happy couple!

show us some pictures of your clowns rubbing faces and fins with each other. that would be a neat picture to see.

Hey,

When the clowns were going at each other for the first few days, the lights on the tank were mostly off. They were only on for like 6hrs a day, when I could actually have someone there to make sure they didn't fight. I left the lights in my room on, the anemone was going toward the side of the glass where the light was, then I left the lights on for the regular time since then. i fed the anemone last night and this morning it isn't where it was, it is now in the sand... kinda sideways and both clowns are layn' in it. Ive had the anemone for a week and I haven't seen it move like this yet, is it normal?

i don't know if i should move the anemone or not, it looks fine... just on its side with the fish playing in it, but they won't stay in there when i want to get a picture.

The anemone is fine, its back up and moved to a diff rock, seems happy. I put some xeina polyps in my tank, they haven't opened yet... should I get iodine to put in for them? Or what supplements do they take in.

They may take a few days to settle in and open fully. Then they'll take over.

I think I'm alright with them taking over some of my tank, is there anyway to stop them... say if its too much. Also, will iodine help to make them take over?

iodine helps a lot of inverts. "take over", as well as trace elements. You can stop them. Just inject Boiling water, vinegar, or kelkwasser paste into them and it will stop them. i'm sure there are other ways as well.
