PC Fluorescent Retro Kit Question

I'm thinking of getting a 55W PC kit from AHSupply. I would be putting it in my 29g which has a standard perfecto type single flourescent hood right now. I'm hoping I can just stuff the PC kit into that hood (after stripping out the old light of course). Does anyone have experience with this?

Also, is there any place cheaper than AH for the PC bulbs?

Its pretty a easy job all you need is a drill and some screws that dont come with the kit. The instructions tell you what size you will need. Great light. From what Ive read and imo the reflector is very high quality. Overall a great light and easy installation. Good luck Tim
