My LFS has nothing in the way of aquatic plants, and they charge an arm and a leg for what they do have. Does anyone have personal experience with aquaticplantdepot.com? I've seen the name passed around a bit..

Thanks

this probly should be in the "Aquatic Plants" area

I bought many of my plants from http://aquariumplants.com So far, I am very satisfied with my purchase. I think they also have good prices and shipping isn't off the scale.

I bought mine from http://www.freshwateraquariumplants.com

I ordered a package of plants for my 36. The prices may be a bit more than other places, but the owner grows them and wholesales out to other companies. You get a nice variety, and Don asks for your tank stats (pH, kH, wattage, etc.) and picks plants for you based on that. All in all I had a great experience, and have a great variety of plants now.

Check out the site...

Highly recommended! :D

I haven't been having much luck with online retailers lately...
I ordered from aquariumplants.com & they totally screwed up my order. They were supposedly having a 'buy 3 get 1 free' sale on their bunched plants which I didn't get, they substituted for the Brazilian Pennywort I ordered with a cheap Cardamine, and just plain didn't send a Java fern I ordered. I have to call them tomorrow..

Well, that's no good. My order came in with a few extras (of things I had ordered). Possibly it was an incompetent worker?

I have ordered from Aquatic Plant Depot with great results. If you are a Florida resident, shipping is only $5.00, and (Florida resident or not), any order over $100.00 is shipped free.

I have also ordered plants from Off-Ice on Plantgeeks and they were beautiful. He's very reasonable on shipping too!
