I bought this fishes yesterday can’t remember what was the name can you id plz thanks.

Some sort of malawi cichild... You'd be better off to post in the Cichlid forum with this one, the people in there know their Malawis :D.

I guess we’re all searching for some pics to compare with yours. ;)
What I would like to know is; how big is he/she.
You think it’s a fully grown or still a juvenile.
The second picture tells me it’s some kind of melanochromis. (perhaps a hybrid)
But the mouth in the first pic tells me it’s not.
Amazing, it looks like two complete different cichlids.

Looks to be a hybrid melanochromis to me.

Looks like melanochromis to me too. Go check out some malawi sites with profiles and check through the pics of each specie and compare it to yours. www. cichlid-forum.com has a great gallery for comparing.
But it can also be a hybrid. You sure you can't remember what name you bought to under?
