Got my tank all set up. Still missing gravel, substrate, plants, and frogs!

The tank itself is ready for action though! Here is a few shots of what I have so far:

Substrates will be here tomorrow and I might pick up the plants over the weekend.

i like it, are you planing on using some plant on the plant between the water and land area like java moss or ricca to soften that edge?

I am planning on getting some java moss for the edge...and mellow is going to send me some HC....right?

A few small bromeliads in the background, some duckweed or similar for the water, and some random plants for the land portion.


Any thoughts for plants for the land portion?

I've got my fogger set up and ready and timer should be here later this week.

I am very happy with the way this tank is turning out. I plan to allow the plants some time to take root and grow a bit and do a few water changes before the frogs come.:dance:

Is that great stuff and coco hulls? How did you route the Zoomed 501

It is Great Stuff, silicone, and coco fiber/gravel mix.


The 501's output is the waterfall/spring and it's intake is under the gravel right near the front of the tank. The tubing just goes through the great stuff and out the top of the tank.
