How big do these guys get and how agressive??? Saw some at LFS an was curious. They did not seem very agressive with their tank mates. The LFS said they get to about 6 - 7 "....

I would think that you would be fine with 3, or even a pair. They'll probably get 8'', some can get up to 12''. They are peaceful fish except for the fact that they are not the most intelligent fish out there. If their barbels come in contact with another fish, they will nibble on them because they thing it's food.
Back when I had mine, I thought that they were quite an active and fun to watch specie. They are also quite commical, they will just stop and "lie" on anything.
