Hi again,

What are the different ways for me to lower my Nitrate levels. Im currently at 20ppm.

All other levels are normal.

Tank specs.

37g AquaVia
35lbs LR
1 1/2" deep Crushed Coral Base

thanks.

water changes, replacing the Crushed Coral with a Deep Sand Bed, making sure you don't over feed, setting up a refugium with macro algeas... but i don't think 20ppm is very high.

what about the nitrate abosorbers that you can buy at lfs do they work?

IMHO they don't. I used them as directed on the box/bottle and didn't see any kind of reduction in my NO3's. Do as Guy suggested and you will notice a big difference. I did!
