My siamese fighting fish has developed an open wound on her lips. It first appeared as a white area and over the next few days, this erupted. My red fin shark has a similar area on his body. I believe that both of the fish may have had a small injury which has become infected with a fungal infection. We have tried a salt bath and methyline blue treatment but to no avail. I am worried about the siamese fighter as she is looking quite unwell and sluggish. Any thoughts or suggestions?
