Need more info. Do they move? If so, how? If not, likely a sponge. Check here: http://reefs.org/hhfaq/ for some common LR hitch hikers.
no not vermetid snails, I just found a website with something about those. These come to a point on the end and are very clear looking. I'm not sure about the movement, they may move a bit but they don't sway and move in the water all the time.
