I saw this beautiful emerald crab yesterday at my LFS. It was about the size of a quarter and was $15. Ive heard that they are very good at getting rid of bubble algae.
So do you think i should get it? I was going to get it today but the LFS was closed due to the weather :(
i don't know how they do on bubble algea, but they did a serious number on my hair algea problems.

I did 2 emeralds in my 125 gal, along with about 10 scarlet hermits, a dozen turbo snails, and a couple brittle stars... I haven't had algea problems since.

Three emerald crabs completely wiped out my bubble algae problem in a matter of weeks and they've never caused any problems in my reef tank.
However, $15 if high for emeralds. They go for about $8 around here.
I have added 4 emeralds to my tank 2 months ago, haven't made a dent in my algae. They eat constantly like living garberators. But not sure what is going into their mouths.
