Anyone heard or have any experience with these Eheim knock off's? if your unfamilier with them, just do a Google search and some forums have some good links to them, they look just like Eheims(pro series), I just wonder if they hold up or perform as well. Some sites I have been to say they even contacted the importer and the parts are made by the same company as Eheim.

I mentioned the Jebao canister filter in a thread a few days ago. I have a Jebao fountain pump that I've been using for a few years. They make some really good products. I think they manufacture many OEM products that are sold under different labels.

I have an Ehiem knock-off. It is very similar to the Ehiem 2028. It is not viaaqua or jebao - it is AQTX. I love it. It is so quiet I have to put my ear next to it to hear it. It is easy to clean and the motor is strong. I think I will buy another. :)

I have Via Aquas' and I love them. I did not want to spend a lot on a first canister filter, and when I found that they are interchangable with the Eheims at 1/3 the cost, I jumped on it....

My only recommendation is get the biggest one available. Its better to have more than less. Others will tell you to have multiple small ones.

I use RUGF, and internal Fluval and a canister combo in each tank.

I've been running a pair of jebao canister filters on my 120g for about 4 months - seem to be working pretty well.

Is the Via Aqua made in China?
