Every time I use it I hate my camera more but I got some new pics of the hex tank to show off. Its only been running for maybe 2 months and I don't use fertilizers or special gravel but my Rangeri sword is growing like a weed in this tank!
This is the tank when first set up

The only decent picture of Jaws IV. Hopefully a better camera is in the near future.

Thanks. My aunt bought it for my sister and I when we were kids. She got it in the Philipines. There are more pictures on my site (http://home.earthlink.net/~mtbtom/tomandjaimesplace/id5.html)

That's not a panda though, it's an emerald. I have 4 of em, unfortunatly, the 1 panda I had died about a month ago.

Travelinman, they are indeed Pandas. There's four of them in there. They've darkened a bit since I've had them so they don't have that sharp black and white contrast anymore.
Here's a close up

I stand corrected. I couldn't see the black on them in the first pics.
Did you replace the plant, or did it really grow that big?

That panda cory is sooo cute!! Awesome looking hex tank. (Everybody - you have to see the full view to fully appreciate it.)
The pics of your tanks are beautiful, thank you for sharing. The 10 gallon is looking great. Plus, I love finding something unexpected that makes me burst out laughing... hope you don't mind me quoting here... 1,000,000 Pond Snails (might be slightly under estimated).

Banky, no, that plant really grew that big in only a couple of months. I'm amazed by it. Its the only plant in the tank really and its directly under the two 10w flourescents so I really shouldn't be so shocked.
Kveeti, thanks. The Pandas are some of my favorites. The bettas tries his best to annoy them like a little brother (he brushes them with his fins while they try to eat the algae wafers) but they comlpetely ignore him.
Thanks for your compliments on the tanks. I'm trying. I added some stone hiding spots I made from black slate to the hex. I made a few more for the 29g too (which should be up and running soon if I ever get my order from Hagen  )

You have done a great job with that tank. I think the sword and driftwood were excellent choices.
