Can anyone recommend an online fish store that I can purchase freshwater fish from? My LFS is no longer carrying freshwater fish (except for cichlids) and will not order any for me. I'm looking for some rainbows, clown loaches, tetras and a siamese algae eater (not chinese) Any you have had good experience with?
Thanks!
Candace

most of the online places charges a lot, and shipping is expensive www.liveaquaria.com has fish and a 10 day gurantee. never brought from them though. they are owned by the dr foster and smith people i think and everyone is happy with their service. i brought fish from a board member he says he can get almost anything because he works at the distributor or something. is there not a petsmart around you? the fish you want are pretty common. i only buy online when i have to because shipping is 40 bucks or so for only a few fish.

We do have one close by, but I wasn't sure about getting fish from them. I assume you are saying they will special order for you? That would be ideal, but I wasn't expecting to be able to do that. :) I will stop by and check it out. Thank you!

some of the petsmart have people who takes care of the fish and they have a 2 week gurantee so you can put them in a hospital tank first if you are working about them being sick. i was saying to go check there, they probably wont special order but the fish you want are pretty common and they should have them.
