Well my post on the newbie forum makes things sound really bad I do have some goods news.

Last thursday, exactly a week ago I was feeding my big tankand discovered that one of my danios was missing. I searched for the body and when I did not find it I assumed he was eating. The last couple of nights though I've been up into the early morning hours and noticed that my AC200 filter was making a strange noise so today I finally got around to rolling up my sleeves and cleaning it out. When I removed the media and looked inside I was met with what I thought was a fish body and dumped it all into a bucket, the body started to swim around.

She is was too big to swim up the intake so she must have been spooked by something and jumped up the outflow, getting wedged in under the media where she lived for a week. She's a little pale, and she'd dropped a lot of weight, but her fins are in fine shape and she is eating well and swimming. I put her in a breeder trap because the other fish were picking on her, but she's doing great. Next time my filter rattles I'll check it out sooner.

Try covering the tank with a blanket next time when watching Finding Nemo ;)

She jumped out of the breeder trap this morning and has been doing great. She is pretty small compared to the others but she fights for her share of the food and they haven't been bothering her anymore. She's got a big white patch on her back, but otherwise is doing great.
