i bought 2 turbo snails a week ago & just noticed they sure do poop a lot. is there any criiter that can take care of this ? or does it need to siphoned ?
have searched the threads with no luck.

I was considering on getting a coral banded or pepermint shrimp soon.

Thanx

I've honestly never seen mine 'poop' since I've had them. I haven't been watching closely but when you mentioned this it made me think, and I sure haven't seen it.

It's all part of the ecosystem. My astreas poo a lot, releasing whitish-green droppings, which then disappear into the sand bed. Presumably this feed detritivores and bacteria in the sand bed.

My torbos poop looks like little tan colored pellets.

So should I not really worry about this?

Same problem, but 10 snails. I bought scooter blennys to stir up the sand, you could also get some sort of sand star or a horseshoe crab. It will just make it look better I guess, no real way to get rid of it with anyother animal.
