Whats up guys. I have been looking at this site over the last year or so. I am just getting back into the aquarium game. I have kept aquariums for about 12 years now. I have tried just about everything you can imagine. Everything from tropical, africian, south americian, FOWLR saltwater, and full reef tanks.

Right now I have a 75G with a tropical mix with 2 - 6" Iridescent Sharks, 1 - 8" Bala Shark, 1 - 5" Red Tail Shark, 1 - 8" Pleco, and quite a few misc. tetras. I plan on changing this tank into a south americian tank with some of the medium sized cichlids.

I also have a 20G long that I am just getting together to house a few mbunas. At the moment it has about 3" of black sand along with a few rocks from hiding places. The only fish in the tank so far is Melanochromis joanjohnsonae

Pic of same species for those of you that have no idea what it looks like ---------- Picture of Melanochromis joanjohnsonae (http://www.cichlid-forum.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=18972&highlight=exasperatus)

Other than that, I am 22 and living just south of Pittsburgh, PA. Interest include aquariums of all kinds and the local carshow and racing scene.

Welcome to the tank:)

And, not to harp on you first thing, but (there's always a 'but,' isn't there? :p) ....you're gonna want to think about exchanging those ID sharks for something else...they get VERY large and don't make very good aquarium inhabitants from what I've read/heard/seen...

EDIT: Just realized that you said youre redoing the tank...I assume the ID's are going Byebye?

Hopefully they will be on there way back to the petstore when the tank gets redone. My parents stocked that tank while I was away at school last year and I dont think they made the best choices. They sort of have that ----- ohh that one is pretty syndrome.
