Hiya
I've had my 4 neon tetras and my Dwarf Gouramie for about 3 weeks now and they all is well.
I really like my Gouramie, hes a beautiful fish. I would also say he seems a bit more intelligent than my tetras. I was just wondering if fish get bored??? My tank is only 5 gallons big and I cant get a larger one (at least until my tax returns)
Is there anything I can add to stimulate my gourmie or is he fine? I dont really know the nature of this type of fish. He sure seems curious. Ive got some plastic plants and a lil cave type thingy in there.
I dont think adding more fish is the answer. but I just thought I would see if anyone has some suggestions?

I like making my tanks visually complex. I have lots of wood, and rock caves, and plants, so the fish can swim around and check diffferent things out. Few fish have the IQ to be bored, though--as long as the water is good, and they get fed, most fish are content.

i wouldn't add any more fish. You are probably stocked to capacity right now in a 5g. Maybe ad a bubble wand, my fish seem to like to play in that!
