Feeding Schedules

I have been giving my fish flakes for a long time, the mollys for the most part only eat the flakes. i bought a school of red minor tetras for my 4 and they ate the bloodworms that i fed them. my betta also loves the blood worms, but he also eats flakes and betta pellets.

so i want to know how often i should feed the betta and the tetrs the bloodworms? should they be given only as a treat, or should they be apart of their normal feeding.

I would say to feed the bloodworms which are considered a treat, 2 times a week. Try feeding various foods, but for just a few days at a time. The flakes should be fed on a somewhat regular basis as flakes these days are loaded in most of the essential vitamins and minerals to support the nitritional needs of your fish.
