i am mixing about a gallon with a couple tsp.
letting it sit for several hours.
taking the water from the middle(at least i try to leave the scum from the top as best i can).
using an internal feeding pump to SLOWLY drip.
i am using bout 1000ml a week
and my water looks smokey.
i read something about dissolving it in vinegar.
but i dont think i feel safe enough to do this.
what am i doing wrong?
is there any better way to get the trace elements i need for corals that i will be adding after i get my refugium setup and everything stable?
thx in advance

p.s. my water parameters are perfect way better then i was ever
able to acheive on my 55g. the prizm is suited for a 10 and i was dumb to not know this was most of my problems with the 55.

If your Ca and alkalinity are where you want them to be, then you don't need to add vinegar. My tank only gets cloudy when I add kalk too fast. Normally I drip (1 per 10 sec or so), but at the end of the week, I sometimes let it go in faster to empty the reservoir. That's when it can cloud up.
