I bought a small lawnmower blenny yesterday. So far he's just sitting in crevices looking around. I never really see him move but whenever I go to the tank he's in a different spot. Sometimes I can't find him...he's hiding in caves.

Will it take a few days before he starts eating?

What kinds of algae will he eat? Just green? What about brown or stringy algae? (Let's just say I need this guy to start eating).

I haven't seen him "kiss" the glass or rocks yet and I'm just a little concerned...

It took my LMB a good day to day and a half to start chomping on the rocks. He wasn't much fun in the beginning, had to get used to the tank i guess.

Keep this in mind...Make sure he has a good source of food...Mine didn't make it :(

My 37g had about 35lbs of LR (3months old) and i don't think it was nearly enough for him.

He was one of my favorite swimmers (actually liked to hop around)
