anyone know where I can get some good info. on the convicts original habitat? I know they are from central america, but what water conditions, current, obstructions, etc. are in their real habitat? I want to reproduce their natural home as best I can.

Thanks in advance.........

I've noticed that many people have reviewed this post with no response?! I have searched for quite awhile for some good pictures and/or some great info. of their "natural habitat" but with no luck.......is this the same reason for no replies?

Cheers

Hey there.

Convicts have a very wide distribution. They can be found from the pacific slope of Guatemala up to Costa Rica. They also have been found on the Atlantic slope of Honduras to the Rio Guarumo in Panama according to Dr.Axelrod.

That is a wide space sheesh. :p

That is probably why you are having problems finding info.

You may want to check up a search on those particular places and there water ways.
