I saw a 150 gallon tank at Petsmart and I believe it as 4' wide about 3' high and 2'(?) depth front to back. I was wondering if this is going to be more than enough room to support a Blue Hippo(Regal) Tang. I have a Yellow Tang also and he's gotten along great with the Blue Hippo. My question is would I be pushing it if I added a couple more Tangs of one of these? I think seeing about 3 of one of these species is the coolest thing. My plan is a sand substrate and about 100-125 pounds of rock with coral mixed in also. I was wondering if it would be OK to have more then one of these species in a 150. Also, should I look for a 150 long instead of this one or will this be enough room for my Tangs to get around? Will the sand stay undisturbed with powerheads running?
Here what I have and what I'd like to add:
I have:
Yellow Tang
Blue Hippo Tang
Yellow Tail Damsel
Mandarin Goby
Lawnmower Blennie
I'd like to add:
a couple more of one of these breeds of tangs
a clown of some sort
Maybe some more Damsels
What do yall think? Could I add any or all of these on my wish list? Thanks.
