can u say sos?
quick brief, have 2 tanks one 10g (77F) and one 30 (72F) gallon. i have the 10g set up for breeding guppies but my 2 females from the trio died so now its for breeding mollies which seem to be bigger and hardier. in the 10g i have 2 male mollies 4 female mollies 1 male fancy guppy (the only guppy survivor) and 2 small chinese alge eaters (i think)
the 30 has one crayfish about 4 inches. With 14 medium feeder goldfish (1 1/2 inches) and a pleco 3 inches long.
(in both tanks i have a airpump, lines and stones, whisper filters, gravel, plants, heaters, and rock formations, i also have a 2 in 1 clear plastic breeder)
couple problems-
-my females from the trio both died so i got 6 mollies and left the chinese alge eaters and the remaining male guppy in.
-one of the male mollies is hiding in the baby hiding grass and isnt movin much, but cant be pregnant cuz hes a guy (hes not dead at the moment)
-in my 30 gallon i had 14 feeder goldfish when i only asked for 10 but o well, but now im down to 9 crap
-my crayfish isnt eating anything, no dead fish that i leave over night 4 him, no frozen krill i bought for him, or flake food.
- ive had this set up for 2-3 days and i think its all the stress thats causing the chaos.
-how do i get the crayfish to eat and the goldfish to stop croakin?
-should i set up a seperate 5 gallon for the pregnant mollies or can i just get away with the breeder? (i heard they were not good in confined space like a breeder)
-i also have a water clarity issue but that just might be new fish syndrom
2 more questions
-should i use the spare 5 gallon to breed ghost shrimp and will they get eaten by the mother mollie?
-also what fish that eats feeder fish can live in a 30 gallon all by itself (preferably a cichlid) or is the minimum a 55 gallon (which i can probably get from a friend)
