I just started my new planted tank and I need some good quality driftwood to add for the final touches. Unfortunately my LFS does not house a decent supply. Does anyone know any reputable online retailers. I tried the search, but I would rather have a satisfied customer give a reference or at least someone who knows. Thanks.

I suggest FloridaDriftwood.com

You can also look into what they call "Tribble balls"...

Not sure where you live, but maybe you want to look at collecting your own. Rivers, lakes, etc. I live near lake Michigan and found some great driftwood there. Hey it was even free!

Personally I wouldn't buy driftwood online b/c I'm particular about the size and shape. You can't see what you're getting exactly so I would be more likely to shop ebay where you can see the exact piece.

Depending on the wood, you will see the exact peice on Floridadriftwood.com. You won't always be able to, but there are messages telling you if you looking at the piece you would recieve or if you are not. And they provide the 3 demensions in inches. And I think the only ones that you don't look at the exact peice is the driftwood they sell that have Java Fern/Moss/Anubias already growing attached to the wood...

Well then, they cerainly deserve a look!

When you first click on the Driftwood link, an option screen will come up, and it will tell you on the left in the messages. The Asian, the Stumps, and the Branchy are all "what you see is what you get" the assortments are sight unseen, the others don't say, but I think the Caribbean is "what you see is what you get" and the planted ones are sight unsean.
