I hope now my headache will go away after since i have finnaly made my discision on what to get. It only took me a few weeks but i pulled out alive. So since 400 watts seemed like too much, and 175 watts seemed like not enough. Im going with 250 watts.

Just make sure you use a good power cord that is grounded. They sell one but you can probably get one cheaper at Home Depot or could even use and old computer cord if you have one. Just cut and Splice. Also make sure you use high tem connectors either wire nuts or inline connectors when wiring.

The one going to your current PCs? It should just make sure all your splices are water tight.

thanks for the advice. Do you know how hard it is to wire up the ballast? Seems a bit complicated to me.

It is not overly complex but if you arnt sure get some one who has done some basic wiring to help. Hooking it up wrong can result in a blow capcitor or burning the ballast up. If you can give me a detailed pic the front wiring diagram I can try to talk you through it if you don't have anyone that has done wiring before. But maybe you know someone who has wired a flourescent ballast its not much different.
