You know those bubble wands that you attach to an air pump to make bubbles in the aquarium? Would it be possible to rig it so you could run water through the airline and produce a fine mist of water from the bubble wand? Or would the water pressure simply break the wand? I'm thinking in terms of a DIY mister for a vivarium or paludarium.

I think it would probably just end up coming out as drops, cause there would be no way to keep up enough pressure to form mist, cause if I recall, the end caps on those things is just like a pressfit, that would pop out in two seconds with any buildup of pressure.
That being said, I do think the possbility exists, you could also like, take small PVC pipe and drill small small holes, and i think you would achieve the same effect, cause you could cap the end and keep the pressure up

I was thinking the same thing about the wand. The pvc pipe idea sounds good. Maybe I'll try that. Thanks.

Youd need a pump that produces at least 40psi to create mist. As for how the bubble wand would work as a mister, I really have no idea.
