It looks like the small panda corys are dieing. They are swimming all funny and it looks like they are having trouble breathing. I wasn't aware that Rid-Ich was bad for them. I dont have anywhere else to put them. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
Yeah....do a 75% water change and try to keep the temperature as stable as possible. Change the carbon inserts and get those meds out of the tank. Is the other fish ICH free? At this point, I'd be trying to rid the tank of the meds. You can sometimes remedy ich just by doing frequent water changes (every 2 days or so) and keeping them temp up near 82* F.
A bit of aquarium salt will also help get rid of ich but catfish like corys and plecos can be sensitive to salinity changes also. I agree with AFG about getting the meds out of the water. I think though that a 75 % change is a bit overboard. 50% change and brand new carbon will get rid of the meds within a few hours.
A water change is a water change. 75% won't hurt a thing. The filter is still running, the gravel is still covered in good bacteria, therefore its fine. I (personally) don't rely on chemical agents or "assistants" like carbon, as it's not something I use. Carbon will help rid the tank of the meds, but you need some clean water in there too.
