I have 3 australian rainbowfish and there is one dominant male (assuming male) that controls the other two. He constantly forces the other 2 to stay in the corner of the tank. Whenever they come out he quickly chases them back.
My question is can I help to change this by getting 2 turquoise rainbowfish that are about the same size? Will this help to get them schooling more rather than one controlling the tank?
It's only a 36" x 12.5" tank so there isn't a ton of room for a nice big school of rainbows.
