I rescued this huge oscar from a fish store...It was turned in, and the owner hates oscars so he sold him to me for $10!!! Anyway, he says he was treating it for hole in the head, and that the oscar was healing up...Well the oscar does not eat to my knowlege...i have tried 4 differant pellets, live food...everything!!! I believe it is because the oscar is sick...I have knowticed tiny pin holes have appeared on the oscars head. I am pretty sure it is hole in the head...I have had several oscars and have never had to treat it because mine have always been healthy...Please help and tell me what signs to look for, how i can entice her to eat...and what medication I am gonna need to heal her...:sad

Do the pinholes have a white outline? If not, then I doubt it's HITH. Large cichlids have pretty obvious pin holes.

Here's a picture of a fish with HITH

As stated above, large cichlids do have noticable holes in their heads that are quite normal. However, you may want to consult this
or this as tools to help you diagnose.
