fish, the worst gift to give someone?

hey guys, for my anneversery, my girlfriend (with the help of lfs) got me a feather duster, a brittle star, and a fire goby. anything special about these i need to know? i really didnt want any of these, but shhh dont tell her that hehe. i really wanted a serpent star, but does that rule that out because i have the brittle star?

They are all friendly.I dont know what you have in your tank,but they should get along with any other reef safe fish.I have several different types of stars in my 30.Never any problems.(tip)Feed the stars every couple of days,a few pieces of shrimp.

You can go to the grocery store and grab3-4 raw shrimp.cut them up into 1/4 inch pieces and put them into a small tupperware container in the freezer.When you need to feed them just pull out a couple of chunks and let them thaw about 5-10 min. then just drop in the tank.As far as shrimp pellets,I have never seen them in the ocean.I found the best way to go is natural.Hope this helps and good luck.
 
nope caz they should leave them alone. They might ,"accidently", pick at some of the tiny ones on your live rock but other than that they are compatible. That is if your talking about any of the tangs I've had any experience with Yellow, Blue or Scopas.

thanx. he must have been picking at it like you said. it scared the feather duster though, he retracted his "feathers". just to make sure. these things are easy to take care of right? reccommended for beginners?
