Mollie/plant problems

I have 2 mollies in my 29g. I have 3 live plants so far and the one molly terrorizies my anachris. It rips off the leaves constantly, the bottom of my tank is covered in anachris leaves. Is there anything i can do about this? Why do they do this?

Mollies are a fish that like vegetation but the only ones I've seen them try to eat are dying leaves. Do you think the leaves may have already been dying off and the mollies helped them along?

No they aren't dead leaves. I watched him grab live ones and pull them off for a good 15 mins. He does try to eat them but spits them out and grabs for more.

Mollies like to eat algae... is there any algae on the leaves?
