I was wondering what type of cichlids would go good with my aquarium. For specs on what is in it look under thread?:confused:
i would have to say that none would go well right now as you are overstocked... I wouldnt add anymore fish...

i agree, thats a lot of fish in a 29 gal but if you really want a cichlid a ram might work.

not to mention the goldfish should really be in a tank of its own since it needs different temps. Kyle

I wouldn't think of putting any cichlid in that tank. Firstly gold fish is a cold water species and most of the cichlids are tropical (need a temp around 80 F). Even Rams will be stressed in a overstocked incompatible tank.

not only are the goldfish happier in cooler water, that guy is going to out grow a 29 gallon in no time. His size PLUS his bio-load will be too much for the tank. He needs a larger place of his own....
