Hey all, I just ordered an Eheim 2026 Pro II filter and am scrapping my UGF system. I have an 80 gal setup with the UGF attached with 2 40gal powerheads, a Model 3 Whisper Power filter and 2 airstone lines. My question is, when I remove the powerheads, and UGF what can I do to keep oxygen in my tank for my fish. At the current moment I do have plants, however with the fish I have it may only be a matter of time before they are gone. I've tried tricking them by placing fake plants in there for a while, now I've substituted some of the fake ones for real ones. Any thoughts on anything? I know the plants will give sufficient oxygen, but areation is also something I want to know about to keep the surface moving somewhat. I have a few little toy gadgets in there, do you think that will be suffice? There are a few pics on my website below. Take a look and tell me what you would add/remove/improve. Thank you everyone!

As long as you set the spraybar outlet from the 2026 to disrupt the surface of the water, you should have plenty of aeration. You could always keep a powerhead in there just for that purpose, if you're concerned about it.

I have a 2026 in my 55 gallon. I placed the spraybar pointing straight down to avoid blowing the plants away. I added a RIO water pump, right under my co2 diffuser, to add circulation to the tank.
