ive got a breeding pair of these in one corner of my 4' tank, and one male on his own in the other corner(he looks very lonley) anyway, soon after i syphon the babies off from the left hand side into a grow out tank the mother goes off and flirts with the guy at the other side. she keeps going from side to side, getting abused on the way cos of the other fish. should i try to get another female so there are two pairs?

First, I would try removing the solo male. Then, I would hope the offended male (dad) would take back the female in his territory
