Hey Now all,

I recieved a nice tank from my friend, and I set it up last night. Its a 10 gallon all-glass, aquaclear 150 filter and a tetra whisper heater. Almost the same set up as mine. I may ditch the whisper filter and get another ebojager.
Anyhow I found directions orion girl gave on cleaning tanks with oxy clean...I soaked all the equipment and the tank then rinsed but now that it is all set up with the filter running and everything i still smell a hint of the oxy clean. I dont want to add bio-spira and fish until i know the oxyclean is gone.
Would a series of water changes rinse the tank better? I thought I did a good job rinsing initially, but I just want to be sure.

take care,
Jared

Having never used oxy clean all I can advise is to take it back down and try rinsing it a few more times.
