i used to have 2 crayfish, bitey and pinchy. they never got along so well, as crayfish are apt to do, but they each had their own little rock caves and primarily kept to themselves, perhaps even teaming up to snag my zebras. they lived together in a 20g long for a year, antagonizing each other from time to time, but never really fighting. one day, i woke up, and mister pinchy was dead.
bitey, loving the crayfish that served as both his arch-nemesis and dearest friend, stood in awe and respect, claws raised in salute. the most telling sign of his love? bitey didn't even eat the corpse. the adoration! the glory! oh, mister pinchy, i hope crayfish heaven is as glorious as the dewey morning! bitey and i miss you everyday!!:sad :sad :sad
