question regarding black dots on java fern

someone over the net has some java fern avaliable. he says there's some black dots on some leaves. can someone show me a picture of thes black dots? someoen told me new java fern are going to form from teh dots. are there any other cause of these black dots?

True Ferns reproduce by spores, not seeds. The black spots are spores.
