feeding pinkies

does anyone feed baby rats to there oscars and aarowanas? i was woundering if i could feed baby rats because they are sposto smell less than the mice.

I have seen and heard of people feeding mice to piranha, but not oscars or arrowana. I would not do it. I don't think my oscars would even do much more than grab it a spit it out once or twice anyway.

A guy at one of my LFS said he feeds the arrowana mice and hamsters. I dont' think its on a regular basis.

I wouldnt' recommend it as there is a risk of the mouse hurting the fish.PLus i dont' think it is really necessary. There are plenty of other foods taht can be fed.
