First, thanks to all who answered my last plea for help with Felix; daveedka, celura, harrytolen, pumaward, jay, and snakeskinner.
The result of that lesson was that a 6g may be a little small for me to handle right now, and I'm looking into another 10g.

Now...

In my 10g that contains 7 neon tetras and 4 zebra danios, I have what appears to be regular, old, stuck to the cheddar, mold growing on the suction pads holding the tank heater.
Have I done something horribly, horribly wrong (again), or is this normal. It's a very small amount, but you can definitely see it.
The second part of this joyride into confusion; if it's normal, do I leave it, or should it come out?

Usually, molds indicate that something is rotting--not a good thing. In this location, though, I would suspect that there's an accumulation of bio-film, fairl.y common occurance. You can clean it off, either way--if it comes back, it's probably bio-film. If not, it may have been some food got stuck there and starting breaking down.
