What's the Scoop on Cichlids in Planted tanks?

I have kept and enjoyed cichlids and I have also kept planted tanks, but I have never had cichlids in a planted tank...Right now I have a 15 gallon tank, lushly planted with lots of cool habitat, I was wondeing if there are any dwarf cichlids or rams that I could put in? Any easy possibilities?

when they say you cant put them in a planted tank, its because big fish are messy and move stuff around, dig it up, but little rams and such will ignore them, its not till you have 6 inch malawis in there that it can be troublesum

Rams are a great choice of a planted tank. I have one in my 15g planted.

Apistos would also probably work but i have no experience with them.
