1) What is a best PH range for reef tanks?

1.1) How often do you feed your aquarium?

1.11) If a mushroom looks like it has purple guts hanging out of the center, is it likely to die?

1.111) Have you noticed corraline algae won't grow without blue-light?

1.1111) Is a SUMP necessary in having a dragonette?

1) I like 8.2 - 8.4 just keep it constant.

1.1) I feed once a day.

1.11) Never seen this but it doesnt sound good.

1.111) I find that coraline algae grows better with actinic supplementation but the key is to have a good calcium level.

1.1111) A sump is not necessary as long as you have enough live rock and breeding area for copods. Usually a regugium is used to provide the safe breeding area.

its like a sump or a part of a sump where you have a sand bed and macro algeas and lights for it. So the Pods can breed and not be hunted. Usually want it in a way that the pods can flow back to the tank without going through a pump so the actual popualtion will grow.

1, 1.111, nothing to add.

1.1) I feed twice a day, small portions. DTs a few times a week.

1.111) Sounds like it's extruding mesenterial filaments. Usually means it's being attacked by something, either another coral or a predator. My biggest one does it every time this evil nereid worm pokes its head out of the sandbed and bites off a chunk. Not necessarily fatal, but I'd try to figure out why it's doing that.

1.1111) If you have a small tank, you will have to have some way to generate enough small crustaceans for the dragnette. A refugium can be in a sump, like gbolton said, or a hang-on unit, or even in the tank. It's a separate area, safe from predation (hence the name). It will have to be big and mature enough to produce sufficient food.
