My friend just gave up on the hobby and gave me a cool little fish,he said it was a yellow headed jawfish.Iput him in my refugium for now till i got some info from the forum.he seems pretty docile.he just makes a little cave under the lr and sits with his head poking out.once in a while he'll come out and take a little swim then goes home.he eats well and has excellent color. My q is will he be ok in my 55 reef.He wont bother none of the cleaners or shrimp?any inf will be helpful. Thanks guys!!

Yes they do eat shrimp on ocassions. Should have at least 3 inches of mixed substrater. Is a docile fish, what you've seen is normal. May starve or jump if in a tank with aggressive feeders.

Neat fish overall
