color of a rainbow shark

I have 2 of them 1 has the normal colors, The other one though when I bought him he had regular colors now he is alot lighter and looks like he is white with. Im sure he isnt an albino rainbow. Just it starlted me today when i was doing the water change. What would cause the color change?

I had 2 and that was not a good idea because one of them became dominant and just about killed the other. The one being chased lost it's color while the dominant shark got very black with red fins.
So I'ld say stress was the reason mine lost it's color.

Yeah, usually a loss of color is attributed to some type of stress on the fish. Whats causing the stress is variable however.
