I have been keeping Anubias longer than I have been keeping any other plant-it has allways been dependable and one of my favorites.
In my 15 gallon tank I have A. nana, A. barteri and two of the types with the longer leaves--I am not sure what they are called.
All of these are doing well except the tall one with the arrow shaped leaves. This one was prospering at first too, but now it has not produced a new leaf in almost two months and its old leaves are covered with algae and folding up..
Should I just be patient with its slow growth and work on combating my algae? Or is there something else that I can do?

My anubis, A. nana is a giant. It had a period of stunted growth for a while adn an algae problem. What I did was carefully remove the algae and uped my light and fertilizers. After that, my plant started to respond again and grow new leaves.

I think I'd pull it out and give it the 1:19 bleach treatment for about a minute, rinse well using declorinator.. It's probably suffering more with all the algae on it than it will suffer from this treatment.
