Willow Branches- Yes or No?

I was in the local craft store today and noticed the Willow Branches for sale. The are tall twisty pieces of wood that resemble roots and are often used in arranging potted plants etc.

Can Willow Branches be used in an aquarium? It seesm you could have some great fun with the aquascaping.

They've most likely been treated with some type of preservative, so I wouldn't.

If you could find some that weren't treted with anything u could do it fine, just boil it first

since they're dried up, i think boiling water will break them since some peices are really thin... becareful with that...
