Every one has their preferences, but I would go with one Oscar, not sure how that would work if the texas is big or if territories are estabilished though, I have always raised my fish from very small and never introduced big Fish into a tank that already had big fish. a 125 IMO would support 3 big cichlids if you have good filtration, and they get along. Pairs could get dangerous if someone decides to mate.
