Live Rock in the UK

About 1-2 pounds/gallon...think is comes out to about .5-1 kilo per 4 liters?

Can't help on pricing...Not sure how many marine people we have from over the pond...A good price here would be about $4/pound for good decorator quality rock, if that helps.

I work that out as about 40lb (18kg) of rock. Assuming 40gallons after displacement.

At your price of $4/pound, i make that about £89uk. That's really cheap!!!

The cheapest i can get it for here is about £141uk for the same amount!!

Does anyone in the UK know any different???
 
I reckon that's pretty much a box? STM do several grades of rock and one of them is quite close to that price. What about scanning the ads in Practical Fishkeeping and phoning round? You will be very lucky to match US prices as the cost of transport is a bit higher, also the volume is not so high
