I know this has probablly been asked hundreds of times but i can't seem to find any info in archives.

I have a bunch of stuff left over from a cichlid tank, couple large rocks that I dug from backyard & boiled, some broken pieces of flower pots & some white PVC pipes. They were in a FW tank for almost a year with no problems.
Would it cause any problems to use this stuff UNDER my live rock? kinda like a base for it & extra hiding places.
Also, is it harmful to share , say, buckets & siphoning hose & nets between FW & SW tanks ??

Assuming nothing's been medicated, if it's safe for FW, it's fine for SW.

All my buckets and plumbing parts are shared and kept in one heap.

I agree with gbolton on all but one item. Be carefull of the rocks especially if you ever plan on having a reef. Lot's of time rock will have metal inclusions in it that can kill your inverts. If the rocks are limestone or other calcium based or inert stone it should be ok. Everything else should be fine though as a matter of fact my l.r is setting on a base of clay flower pots with holes broken and cut into them for more stable caves.

Do you have any pictures of this to show us!?!!!?

no, I don't it seems like everytime I'm about to buy a digital camera something comes up. Usually buying another tank or something for a tank that I just have to get then. I'm planning on getting one in the next fex weeks but, I'm not real good with all this computer stuff so... I might go out and get one of the disposable digitals but, from what I've seen they really aren't worth it. hmmm I could post pics of my fish and orchids though so.... We'll see.
