The 2L bottle suggests an initial dosing of 5ml per 10g. Does anyone recommend an initial bolus as suggested on the bottle? I have read 1-2 ml daily for a 50g tank on the forum but not an initial dose.

I think it would depend on Co2, NitrAte, amount of plants, lights and your fish load. I would try using ½ of what it says for a 2 weeks and work my may up. If your not careful you could end up with green water.
If you don’t keep a log on your tanks, what was added and what happened with the Ammonia, NitrIte, NitrAte, and so on I would start one today. IMO this way you will know what was added when and how much and what it did to your tank and this can save you from a disaster.
