I went to fishbase.org and it doesn't give much info on this fish. I have read that some blennies like algea while others prefer live brine, pods and the like. Does anyone know what my blenny will eat. The LFS sold him to me as a goby, dumb I know. I really liked him and kept going in the LFS for a week and no one bought him. Now I know why. I have called every LFS in 2 counties and no one has even heard of one. Anyone, please help! I saw him eat some live brine, but now in my tank he won't eat. The LFS told me he would love my reef but now he just sits on the bottom looking sad! Any suggestions besides taking him back? How can I find out about this very uncommon fish?

Compare his mouth structure to that of other fish. A wide mouth with huge gill vents? Probably wants to sift through the substrate for critters. Big mouth with easily identified lips? Scrapes algae off rocks and glass. Tiny mouth, puckered up? Pod hunter.

Find a blenny with a similar shaped mouth, and see what it will eat. Odds are, you'll be able to find someone in the same family with similar eating habits.
